Mexican artist influenced by the architecture of Le Corbusier, who studied set design and eventually fell in with a group of European Surrealist painters. Gerzso is exhibited in the Tate, Art Institute of Chicago, Hirshorn Museum.

Gerzo uses the language of abstraction, yet his compositions always evoke landscapes. He considered these forms expressions of psychological dispositions, yet tied to the land.

This vertical composition sets a clear dialogue (Dialogo) between the structured and unstructured. We see here both expansive color and defined space.
