Intent

This book was made with the San Francisco beat poet Michael McClure. Austere in its format, binding and restricted pallet, Adventures explores the meeting of poetic and artistic imagination of ink on deluxe paper.

Composition

Fascinated by the form and the psychological power of biateral inkblot drawings, Conner creates arrays of these images. Relief plates together with handset type of the Michael McClure text creates an orderly yet provocative work.
